A series of poems aimed at fostering creative dialogue between poetry and science have inspired a number of events throughout the UK involving a number of internationally celebrated artists.
Leading poet, lecturer and polemicist Tom Paulin will give this year's George Jack Memorial Lecture in the University of St Andrews School of English tomorrow (Thurs 13 March 2003).
The University of St Andrews is spearheading a campaign to counter the decline in the study of foreign languages at secondary school level, following their removal from the post-14 compulsory core curriculum.
