Summer interns take over social media

Friday 4 August 2017

Working to preserve rainforests in Borneo to marine biology research and deep water diving in Mallorca to working at the United Nations in New York; these are just some of the exciting opportunities University of St Andrews students have been involved in as our #SaintsAbroad summer interns.

This summer, our students are taking part in a variety of internships abroad as part of their studies and sharing these via social media in a series of Instagram takeovers. Internships provide invaluable experience and help students secure the career they want. This is their opportunity to apply and develop knowledge gained from our world-leading teaching and research in practical, real-world situations.

‌The summer intern Instagram takeovers are a first in a series of our student led social media giving a glimpse into the life of St Andrews students; from internships to Orientation week, to taking part in the Edinburgh International Fringe to student life in St Andrews.
