University public meeting
All members of the St Andrews community, staff, students and local residents, are invited to join the University of St Andrews’ Annual Public Meeting for 2021, to be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
The event, which will take place virtually on Saturday 17 April from 5pm, is an integral component of the University’s commitment to Social Responsibility as outlined in the University Strategy 2018 to 2023, and is designed to enable key stakeholders, partners and neighbours to learn more about the University’s current activities and ambitions.
Updates on University business will be provided by the Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sally Mapstone FRSE; the Senior Lay Member of the University Court, Catherine Stihler OBE; and the President of the Students’ Association, Dan Marshall.
Short opening remarks will address the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the University, and the continuing delivery of the University Strategy. A question and answer session will follow, moderated by Stephen Gethins, Professor of Practice in the School of International Relations.
Audience members are invited to submit questions in advance of the event. Please send your question to the Court Office by noon on Friday 16 April, alongside your name and, where applicable, your relationship to the University, via [email protected].
A summary of questions and answers will be published following the event on the University Court web pages.
Audience members are required to register online to attend this event (you do not require a Teams Account to attend this meeting).
