Alumni Carol Service
Traditional carols will again bring a special atmosphere to this year’s Alumni Carol Service at the University of St Andrews on 10 December.
University Chaplain, Rev Dr Donald MacEwan, will lead the Service at St Salvator’s Chapel on North Street, with singing from the St Andrews Renaissance Singers, a mixed choir of students, staff and the wider community.
Elaine Cartwright, Alumni Relations Manager at the University, said: “The St Andrews Alumni Carol Service is one of our favourite events of the year.
“There is always such a lovely atmosphere as alumni and other friends of the University gather for a service led by Rev Dr Donald MacEwan with traditional carols led by the St Andrews Renaissance Singers.
“Directed by Gillian Craig, the choir is made up of students, staff, alumni and members of the local community, which seems particular apt for the occasion.”
Please note: tickets are not required to attend the Carol Service. Tickets for the reception are available to purchase online or from the Alumni Relations Office on 01334 467194.
