Chemistry teachers from every corner of Scotland will descend on the University of St Andrews next week (Friday 7 June 2002) to learn about the latest developments in the world of chemistry and how they can take them back to their classrooms.
Nearly 50 University of St Andrews students who have been supporting teachers in their classrooms are to be thanked at a special ceremony next week (Wednesday 1 May 2002).
The University of St Andrews is to host an information day for adults interested in higher education.
Around 60 Scottish school pupils will be given a helping hand towards a university place thanks to a new Summer School being established at the University of St Andrews.

A 79-year old St Andrews student has been commended for her dedication to lifelong learning.
