A night with NASA

Tuesday 23 June 2009

Budding astronauts will be given the chance to talk to real-life NASA employees this week (Wednesday 24 June) at a special event at the University of St Andrews.

The University will host an Evening with NASA as part of its annual Space Camp.  Around forty local school children and thirty members of the University’s Open Association programme will take part in the evening, which will include a talk and a Q&A session.

The public event, which will take place in School III in St Salvator’s Quadrangle, will see children from Viewforth, Waid, Buckhaven and Auchmuty schools join the NASA pilot, astronomer, flight surgeon and engineer for a night of space exploration.

A limited number of spaces are available to interested members of the public.  Contact Joanna Fry on 01334 462346 for further information.
